 Urban Basics is a shopping Nirvana with so many fun items. It is a mercantile of days gone by. It has evolved into many shops in one; Vintage / Antique Mall, Up-cycled Furniture, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Urban Basics is a Quilt Shop, an Arts and Craft Supplies Shop, a Scrap-booking / Paper Shop, a Yarn Shop, and a Unique Gift Shop.

We are a Family owned and operated business. One day my son called me "You know that money you loaned me to build my family home?"

"Yeees!" 

"I bought a store with it!!"

"hmmm"

A few months later when the dust settled, I was store manager, he and his company, Wolf Industries Tiny Homes, fixed the leaky roof and gave us a facelift. We are no longer the ugliest shop in town. The back storage room turned into a doctor's office and service space.

I fell in love with Urban Basics & Co. It started out as a mixture of discount and liquidator something or other. We cleaned and reorganized and cleaned and reorganized and we are still organizing. 

Urban Basics is a Destination, it’s inspirational. It is where the community gathers. Walk down memory lane through “The Barn”. Enjoy the experience and bring home a treasure, something new and something used and maybe something blue.

Our newest adventure is adding Gift Boxes extraordinaire with no cheap fillers. We can custom build them or they can be purchased premade off our website.
